And then you aren't paying for insurance forever when nothing happens to your dog. We have a special dog fund hidden in our house. We put $10 in it a month. Our Yorkie got an intestinal infection a few months ago. It was $70. We just pulled out our fund and paid for the bill. We have about $1100 in it now. I think it's much more reassuring than insurance. instead of buying insurance, you could take the monthly "payment" and just save it. then you would have money saved up if something ever happened to your pup.
